Krishna is Vice President, Engineering, leading the Enterprise Networking Business (ENB), a team of about 1000+ employees responsible for switching, routing and wireless product groups in India. The Enterprise Networking Engineering teams in India are driving some of the key next generation products and is responsible for significant product portfolio for Cisco. Krishna also drives many India site level initiatives. Currently, he is actively focused on Engineering – Services interlock initiative, which aims to improve customer experience, collaborated innovations and serviceability aspects through bringing greater synergy between major engineering and services teams across the organization.
Krishna joined Cisco in 1998 in San Jose in engineering. In his 20 years of Journey with Cisco, Krishna has assumed various responsibilities within Cisco. He moved to India in 2004 and has been part of Cisco India site’s transition journey into a Globalization center east and beyond.
He also led incubation of Service Provide Access Group, created to develop products for service provider access networks, in 2011. The group is now responsible for large Service Provider customer portfolio across the globe. With 14 patents in his name, Krishna has been a business leader who highly values business-centric innovations.
